Accessibility and Web Standards

A large number of sites on the World Wide Web are not accessible to people with disability. Many web users that need assistive technology i.e. Screen or Braille readers to access web pages content have great difficulty on doing so, largely because the web pages they visit do not cater for the need of disable people in general.
A report published by The DRC found that 81% of sites tested fail to satisfy the basic web accessibility initiative.
Part 3 of the DDA state that it's unlawful for a provider of a service, goods or facilities to discriminate against a disable person.

In an effort to ensure information available here is accessible to a wide spectrum of users, this site was build using WAI recommendation and design technology that is part of a common standard, “web standard” like CSS and XHTML through which we hope to make our website as inclusive as possible.

We understand that automated testing has some limitations and that human judgment is valuable, so if you want to comment or if you have trouble accessing information on this site, we would like to hear from you so we can make changes to meet.
